I'm all for making the game better, but perhaps instead of completely scrapping ideas because there is no purpose for them, why not add a purpose? Why not add some replay value, somehow? You could have a few "extra" items to find in each painting, that way the player has some incentive to go back and replay levels.

Well, logic games like these never have much replay value, but I try my best to add some to it. The idea of "extra items" sounds pretty good. I'll think of a way to include it in the game, but I still feel that the hacking or the florins idea won't be necessary...

You know, players who are motivated enough to unlock all the paintings will already be enjoying multiple play-throughs.

Can't wait!

Oh believe me, nobody can be more impatient than I am now!

It takes a lot of emails for Tom to not be able to shake a stick at them. (Wait, what?)

Give him some time, it usually takes a few days. Tom's away most of the time, too, and doesn't usually check his PM's or emails when not in the NG office.

Good luck with the API and good luck with school!

I know better than to spam Tom with e-mails demanding an answer, but a lot of times, waiting hasn't accomplished anything. I'll try again in a few days.

Thanks a lot.

At least you're still working on it, albeit slowly. Just get through it, all programmers go through the same feeling for most projects.

I'll be eagerly awaiting your next update, as always!

True, and everyone needs to know their priorities. As a student, school comes the first for me. Making this game remains in the background.

Much obliged.

Can't wait!

I think you were making the "enlarge" buttons wrong; you can write code to enlarge them for you, anyway.

Also, you should add medals before you submit it--they may even improve the score.

True, but it also has to show a brief information of the painting near it. Well, I don't think there is anything I can do about it now. Next time.

I've been having the dilemma of whether to add the medals before or after the release, but I think you're right. I should get to work on them as soon as the gallery is done.

I'm going to lock you in a cave until you finish this game.

But but but but Arch, to lock me in a cave you'll have to build a door first!

But but but but Arch, how am I supposed to hook my computer up in a cave?

But but but but Arch, how am I supposed to connect to the internet in a cave?

I'll probably have finished the game by the time you made the cave suitable for my working conditions. :))

What happened to your updates on my userpage about these updates?

The wait is killing me but it will be worth it for everyone. Every week is one closer to the release...
